What is SafeTravels?
SafeTravels is a stamp awarded by the World Tourism and Travel Council (WTTC), which allows travelers to identify destinations that have adopted global health and hygiene standards related to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, as an important prerequisite for safe travel. Bosnia and Herzegovina received the right to use the SafeTravels stamp in March 2021.
The SafeTravels stamp can be worn by destinations (in this case the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina), as well as companies and organizations within the destination, which respect the safety protocols and measures prescribed by the Guidelines and protocols for health care from COVID-19 in tourism. Local regulations can sometimes be more demanding than what international protocols prescribe.
